Transport Canada long awaited Amendment 6 was published February, 20 2008.

The TDG Clear Language Regulations includes the new amendment 6 regulations. Our book is intended to make the regulations simpler and easier to understand. Also try our new 2008 Shippers and Driver Handbook.

The scope of the TDG Clear Language is broadened to reflect changes in technology, packaging, and transport, and to harmonize the regulations with the UN Recommendations.

In addition, the responsibilities and accountability of the public, industry and government employees handling and transporting dangerous goods have been clearly defined. Transport Canada's TDG Regulations promote public safety during the transport of dangerous goods and are the major source of information, regulatory development, and guidance for Canada.
