       <description>The packing instructions in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)’s Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (Technical Instructions) (and consequently the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations) have been the subject of an extensive review by the ICAO Dangerous Goods Panel (DGP) over the last four years. The packing instructions are posted in PDF format and in addition an Excel spreadsheet is provided showing by UN number / packing group the existing packing instruction number and the new packing instruction number for limited quantity, passenger aircraft and Cargo Aircraft Only.</description>

       <description>US PHMSA has issued a safety advisory, alerting emergency responders to the new and revised proper shipping names and identification numbers for ethanol/gasoline mixtures. These new names and numbers are included in ERG2008 but the Administration wanted to highlight that blends with a high proportion of ethanol need to be tackled with AR foams, using type II gentle application techniques. AFFF or AR-AFFF foams may be used on E10 gasohol but increased application may be necessary.</description>
